The Holiday Inn – North Randall is an abandoned hotel adjacent to the now-demolished Randall Park Mall in Randall Park, Ohio.
The ten-story, 300-room Holiday Inn – North Randall 3 opened in October 1972 4 as phase one of the five-phase development of Randall Park Mall by the DeBartolo Corporation. 2 All five phases for Randall Park Mall was projected to cost $235 million and sprawl over 160 acres. 3
The Holiday Inn – North Randall became a Days Inn in 1988 and then a Days Hotel before closing in 1991. In 1998, the village of Randall Park purchased the vacant Holiday Inn with plans to transform it into a new Village Hall. 1
The abandoned hotel was sold to an affiliate of Industrial Commercial Properties Corp. of Solon and Industrial Realty Group of California on October 6, 2016. 5 The pair plan to raze the building and sell sites on the five-acre parcel to food-related and other retailers.
