The East Hills Mall, a small shopping center along U.S. Route 60 east of Huntington, West Virginia, opened in the early 1960’s.

On May 6, 2005, a Grandview Weekend Outlet opened at the shopping cewnter.1 The weekend-only department store was owned by the South Point, Ohio-based company, Grandview Buildings and Supplies. As its name implied, it was only open on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, and featured a variety of products ranging from clothing to sporting goods and hardware. The department store opened in the former 22,000 square-foot Office Depot property, vacant since March, and the hardware component opened in the former 85,000 square-foot Ames Department Store building. The Ames property had been vacant since February 2001.
