The Pigeon Roost Bridge is an abandoned through truss bridge spanning Twelvepole Creek in Wayne County, West Virginia.

Originally built in the late 19th century, the bridge later became part of WV Route 8. In June 1931, WV Route 8 was incorporated into the newly designated US Route 52. 4

In 1930, a proposed improvement project for US Route 52 aimed to upgrade a 10-mile section between Wayne and Lavalette. The plan included reusing a 175-foot bridge over Twelvepole Creek in Dickson and constructing an 18-foot-wide concrete roadway. However, the project may not have been completed. 2

In 1931, road improvements were reconsidered under a Public Works Project authorized by the National Industrial Recovery Act (NRH 196-A-2). 1 3 This led to the construction of a new two-lane concrete and steel girder bridge over Twelvepole Creek at Dickson in 1935, bypassing the Pigeon Roost Bridge. The old bridge was redesignated as part of County Route 52/38 (Hiram Ferguson Road), while the former alignment of US Route 52 became County Route 52/38 and County Route 52/39 (Camp Road). 4
