The abandoned Winston Family Chapel was constructed in 1908 by the patriarch of the Winston family in rural Culpeper County, Virginia. It is in a state of arrested decay.
The Winston Family Chapel was erected as a memorial for a son of the Winston family 3 and was built of brownstone in the Colonial Revival style in 1908. 1 2 Several members of the Winston family were later buried in the adjoining cemetery. 3
The chapel was used for semi-regular church services until the 1960s. 3
