Stones Levee Bridge

The Stones Levee Bridge carried Stones Levee Road over a railroad in Cleveland, Ohio.

The Stones Levee Bridge, located in Cleveland, Ohio, was built to span the Baltimore & Ohio Railroad, carrying the Stones Levee Road over it. This crossing, featuring a Baltimore through truss design, was constructed in 1908 by the Interstate Building Company. 1

In parallel with the construction of the Eagle Avenue Bridge, a viaduct was also erected. This structure connected the Eagle Avenue lift bridge and was positioned directly above the Stones Levee Bridge. 1

The Stones Levee Bridge underwent rehabilitation in 1964. 1 In 2005, the Eagle Avenue Viaduct atop the Stones Levee Bridge was removed.
