Granny’s House

A while back, I was invited to photograph an abandoned farmhouse in Massachusetts. Aptly nicknamed “Granny’s House,” it is comprised of a circa 1840 Colonial-style residence filled with furnishings and antiques, a separate residence, and a garage. The single-family residences are set to be demolished in the near future as the cost of rehabilitating them for future use far exceeds the cost of new construction.

Too bad someone can’t purchase them and salvage as much as you can. The wide board pine floors are worth a fortune alone and the wood work and doors.
